If you’re not on Facebook every day you may have missed that your Facebook page (previously known as a fan page) has a new look. Awesome, right? Well, yes and no. Yes, you can do some cool easy things but no in the sense that you’d better head over to your page and update your image right now! The old profile image specs were different. With the new look you need to create a “cover” image that is ideally:
- 851 pixels wide
- 315 pixels tall
If you don’t, your page won’t look so good because your profile pic will be all squished up or otherwise changed or at the very least you’ll have a big empty spot where the new cover image goes. Just saying. As you create or locate your new cover image be aware that your profile pic will end up in the bottom left corner of that image so don’t put any critical information there or create a design that would look wonky with the profile pic there. Here’s the zencopy facebook page new look to give you a visual of what to expect:
I took the opportunity to create a new look – if you click on the image it’ll take you to my new zencopy facebook page – feel free to “like” it
